EU Pig Prices: Weak Demand Puts Pressure on the Markets - Downward Price Trends Prevail

The situation on the European pigs-mature-for-slaughter market remains tense. In some countries the quotations can be kept steady, but in most cases price declines must be accepted. Despite the mostly manageable supply of pigs ready for slaughter, the lack of demand on the meat market puts prices under pressure. The weak business in China especially continues to cause problems.
