EU Pig Prices: Markets Steady at Least - Quotations in the South Continue to Rise


The European pigs-mature-for-slaughter market continues to develop unevenly. While prices in the south continue to rise, prices in central and northern Europe are moving sideways. The shrinking supply of pigs ready for slaughter in Europe is causing continuing competition for the utilisation of existing slaughter capacities.
