EU Pig Prices: Market Development Somewhat Calmer - Quotations Steady to Slightly Rising

After the past weeks’ strong price increases, the European pigs-mature-for-slaughter market is losing some momentum. The absence of slaughtering days around Easter as well as low temperatures slightly slow down the dynamics experienced over the past weeks. In most countries the prices stabilise at the level reached; in Spain and France further price increases are observed.
