Young ISN Team -- busy all the time
Young professionals' organization already numbers more than 100 members
(ISN) -- About six months ago, the ISN's young professionals' organization was founded. And -- as Mrs Anna-Kathrin Hertrampf from the ISN offices told -- the Young ISN Team by now numbers more than 100 members already. The seven-person organizing team is very satisfied about this result and delightedly reports that the Young ISN Team is very well accepted by the young professional pig keepers.

During the first six months, the organizing team was able to get quite some events going. After a successful study trip to the
Internationale Grüne Woche(EU’s main international agricultural trade fair, taking place at Berlin), the Young ISN Team's first general meeting took place in April. This way, first contacts were made and plans for the association's future work were hammered out. As a result of this, for instance, the Young ISN Team was invited for visiting the regional Ministry of Consumer Protection at Bonn as well as the regional Ministry for the Environment at Düsseldorf. Markus Kornmann from the organizing team emphasized that
we found that people are very open indeed towards young people and that they do listen to what we say. But having fun, too, had never been lost out in the past few months. During a study trip in May, for instance, all participants met for a pleasant, informal barbecue. And
newcomersalways feel particularly enthusiastic about the close contact between the individual members as well as about the informal atmosphere.
